After turning to songwriting, his personal journal became a collection of lyrics, and his guitar became a tool to learn about heartache, self discovery and helpless optimism. Since being clocked singing a soaring vocal over “Never Tear Us Apart” on her pal Allday’s 2014 Triple J Like A Version, Gabrielle Hyde has been grafting away and honing her skills on the local circuit for the past 5 years. Regularly partnered with Steve Hart, a well established DJ/Producer, they freshen up the sounds and have released their lead single “Spectrums (oh u and me)” which are spun in clubs across Adelaide.
